The 2011 Super Bowl between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers will continue the recent tradition of close NFL title games, according to the oddsmakers.
Green Bay is favored by only 2.5, which I’m told is just about the
slimmest opening Super Bowl margin ever. A little over 12 hours in and
the line hasn’t budged yet.
As always, Super Bowl Sunday is the ultimate day for prop bets, and those will start emerging over the next two weeks. The moneyline opened for Green Bay at -121, though that’s budged to
-114. Look for the spread to start dipping too, in that case. The
over/under opened at 45.5, but has increased to 46. Last year these
teams put together a 73-point brawl, so the over is certainly in play
despite both teams having great defenses. Pittsburgh’s already put up 31
and Green Bay 48 in playoff games so far this postseason.

When the best of the best collide in the NFL it's sure to make highlights, In this case 2 of the best from the AFC let alone the NFL shall collide for an advancing spot in the playoffs. It's going down saturday afternoon the perfect NFL duel between the Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers. This in my opinion
might as well be like a title fight in the ring. These two boxers are
inevitably going to go a full 15 rounds to decide which team is
advancing to the AFC Championship Game. Round 1 went to the Ravens out there at Heinz Field, but the Steelers delivered a knockout blow in Round 2 by beating Baltimore in its own house. NOW they meet for the match-up that really matters. Any predictions on who's gonna take the cake? There are two real glaring weaknesses here, one on each side. Pittsburgh
hasn’t proven it can win at home, while Baltimore can’t protect its
quarterback. However, that home field problem might prove to be the
bigger issue for the Steelers. The Ravens have won five playoff games on the road over the last three seasons, but one of the two losses came against these Steelers in the AFC Championship Game two years ago; there very well could be some sweet revenge on tap late Saturday afternoon.
